Since 1972, I have served as a software engineer for various
companies in the Dallas area. I have served in roles ranging
from scientific programmer to business programmer to IBM system
programmer. I am proficient in IBM mainframe technologies
(batch, IMS/DC, CICS, TSO.ISPF, COBOL, PL/1, Fortran, IBM
assembler language and DB2, relational databases). I
understand how the mainframe these days has taken the position
as a platform amongst others in a highly distributed environment
and must interface and interact along with other platforms
forming the solution. As a participant in that vision, I have
worked in development of web based applications utilizing,
Java, .NET, HTML, Javascript and JSP, with some experience in
AJAX, SOA, SOAP and XML.
Known for excellent client-facing skills, I have participated in
proposals and presentations that garnered me the trust and
respect of the customer and have landed six-figure contracts. I
also excel in merging business and user needs into high-quality,
cost-effective design solutions which meet the customer
requirements and while keeping within budgetary constraints.
My technical expertise lies in application development
methodologies, techniques, tools and application architectures
ranging from mainframe based to client/server to distributed and
to web based applications and web services.
My experience developing user-friendly solutions on time and on
budget would enable me to step into a software engineering role
at any company and hit the ground running. You may reach me at
